1924
in
Chicago
,
Illinois
. He had an
artistic
background
having
completed
graphic
arts
coursework
from the
Western
Printing
&
Lithographing
Co
.
Technical
Institute
.
Dawson
was also
part
of the
Bremerton
Symphony
in the
viola
section
. He
briefly
lived
in
Arizona
, as
one
of his
driver's
licenses
indicates
his
1962
residence
in
Flagstaff
.
Edward
Dawson
was a
photographer
and
mixed
his
own
chemicals
for
developing
photos
. He
took
an
extra
step
in
developing
the
photos
by
washing
out
the
hypo
sulfate
which
deteriorates
the
photo
after
a
period
of
time
.
Unfortunately
,
Dawson
did
not
believe
in
dating
photos
.
