Holbrook City Park at the intersection of Navajo blvd. and Hopi dr. (Route 66). The corner is mentioned in Jack Rittenhouse's Guide book to Highway 66 in the description of Holbrook. It was also used to indicate mile 0 for westbound travelers leaving Holbrook and heading west. Route 66 (in the 1937 and 47 alignments) would pass through Holbrook on Navajo blvd. and Hopi dr. until the construction of the I-40 bypass in the late 1960s, November 4, 2005.
