Prehistoric pictographs of Horseshoe Canyon in Canyonlands Nat'l Park, Utah. Figures, up to 9 ft. tall, painted on sandstone wall, believed to have been made by Fremont people about 1,000 years ago. Different from other pictographs in shape and size, they have persisted almost miraculously throughout the centuries. [Caption by Josef Muench]
