Prehistoric Art Galleries in Horseshoe Canyon, a detached unit of Canyonlands Nat'l Park, Utah. Popularly known as The Holy Ghost and His Family, this group of painted figures (one of many) on sandstone cliffs dates from about 1000 A.D. Up to 9 feet in height. It's believed the artistry stems from the people of the Fremont Culture. [Caption by Josef Muench]
